Park[ing] Day LA!

September 17th, 2009

On Thursday, September 18, many of Downtown’s parking spaces, lots, and alleys will be converted into parks, learning sites, picnic areas, music venues, and even golf greens to demonstrate the need for urban parks and alternative transportation solutions. Come out and take a look at how spaces Downtown will be reshaped during the event, and engage in some dialogue about public space! More information can be found at Blogtown and Park[ing] Day LA.

Open House a Success!

July 31st, 2009

Last night’s Public Open House was a huge success! The event had a great turnout with a large number of Downtown residents, business owners, and stakeholders in attendance, in addition to City Councilmembers José Huizar and Jan Perry. In the coming weeks, LASI will be considering and analyzing feedback submitted during the event to further refine the conceptual alignments. We highly value the questions, comments, and suggestions that the attendees submitted!

LASI sincerely appreciates everyone taking the time to come out to the event, and we will keep you up-to-date on future events through our website and mailing list. If you were not able to attend, we still need your feedback! Please submit an online survey and check out images from the Open House below.  Thank you for your continued support, and see you at the next event!
