One of LASI’s main objectives is to work diligently with several of the industry’s best engineers and consultants to identify detailed cost estimates for the construction and ongoing operations of a streetcar system in downtown Los Angeles. Although understanding the exact cost requires a significant amount of time and resources, the team has been able to come up with some baseline estimates based upon previous experience with recent streetcar systems and industry best practices.
